  Daichi Fuwa is a Japanese artist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. They completed BFA at Tama Art University in Tokyo in 2013, and later studied at Gerrit Rietveld Academie from 2020 to 2023.

  The theme of their work is visual and conceptual boundaries/borders, such as those related to country borders, time, gender, temperature, etc. They are questioning why people draw these lines, on what basis, and exploring the differences between themselves and others, and how society is formed. Through art practice, Fuwa aims to indicate their perspective and reconstruct how to engage with the world.

  オランダのアムステルダムを拠点に活動。 2013年に多摩美術大学工芸学科ガラス専攻を卒業後、 デザイナー・アーティストとして企業に勤務。その後2020年からヘリット・リートフェルト・アカデミーのラージグラスデパートメントで学び、2023年に卒業。
